Aloe the best from the Canary Islands
There are no less than 300 species of Aloe, but the most widely used and best known is the Aloe Barbadensis for its exceptional properties and qualities.
Although Aloe Vera is grown everywhere (Mexico, Texas, Andalusia, Africa….), we have chosen for the Aloe Vera from the Canary Island of Tenerife. It is the most suitable place for the cultivation of Aloe Vera due to its optimal climate and volcanic soil. After all, the soil is very porous and composed of many minerals. The Canary Islands are therefore one of the best places to grow Aloe Vera.
Our plantations are located in an environment specifically dedicated to organic farming. The water sources are protected from pollution and the plants receive pure rainwater through cisterns.

Aloe Vera respects nature
The fleshy leaves are harvested when they have acquired all their valuable properties. The leave is cut off manually. The juice is extracted immediately to avoid oxidation, which would cause the loss of valuable active ingredients. The Aloe Vera leaves are cleaned to remove any residue or dust. Once clean, the leaves are stripped of their thick skin and the inside, which looks like a semi-solid translucent gelatin, is removed. The pulp is crushed to obtain an unfiltered Aloe Vera gel.
The gel is cold-pressed and stabilised. A minimum of preservatives are added to the unfiltered Aloe Vera gel to prevent oxidation and to preserve all the properties of the plant.
